The need for soul-winners has never been greater. Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the harvest” (Matt. 9:37-38). The 6th annual Arise! Spiritual Growth Workshop was designed to help us answer that call. Every lesson approached evangelism from a different perspective and challenged us to arise and gather the harvest. We now seek to apply the lessons learned so that we may win souls with excitement and confidence.
An event of this magnitude cannot happen without the help of many people. So many worked and sacrificed a great deal in order to make Arise! Successful. Thank you so much for your generosity, service, and dedication, not just for Arise! but for all of the work that takes place at this congregation. Always remember the words of Hebrews 6:10–“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Again, thank you, and may God bless you richly.
In Luke 9:62 Jesus said, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Arise! provided a needed boost of encouragement and enthusiasm to serve the Lord and win souls. Now, we put our hands to the plow and move forward. May God bless us in our work, to His glory.
