The Cambridge Dictionary defines “confidence” as “the quality of being certain of your abilities or of having trust in people, plans, or the future.” Spiritually speaking, confidence is one of the Christian’s greatest blessings. John said, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God” (1 John 5:13). Our Father does not want us to live our lives in fear or insecurity of the future or of our relationship with Him. Jesus died so that we might live and be sure of it. Thankfully, the last few days have been filled with biblical reminders of that truth.
The 8th Annual Arise! Southwest Spiritual Growth Workshop has been an incredible success. We have been blessed to hear lessons from God’s Word that have challenged us and strengthened our faith. The time spent worshipping God in song and enjoying fellowship together has been equally sweet and encouraging. We give God the glory and, if He is willing, we will do it all over again February 26-March 1, 2026.
So many of you sacrifice and work so hard to make this event possible. Unquestionably, it could not be done without you. Thank you so much for your generosity, service, and dedication, not just for Arise! but for all the work that takes place at this congregation. Always remember the words of Hebrews 6:10– “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Again, thank you, and may God bless you richly.
